Tu Dam Pagoda: Buddhist symbols of Hue

• The pagoda is located in a hill, large, flat place in Truong An Ward, 2 km south of Hue city center. The south-east temple face, it is not a temple to the oldest in Vietnam but there has been known to many people throughout the country, due to the important role of the temple in the development of Vietnamese Buddhism in the modern period and the struggle for peace and freedom of belief. Currently, the temple is the headquarters of the Buddhist Church of Vietnam Thua Thien-Hue province.
• The common structure of the temple is called the "temple type" which coordinates the new and old architectural art lines with extensive requirements, high-altitude, but simple. The pagoda has three important parts of Tam Quan, the main pagoda and the church.

• The high-altitude pagoda, with its elegant roof tiles. Behind the gate there is a bodhi-year-round shade. It is a bodhi tree extracted from the Bodhi tree where the Buddhist temple was launched by Mrs. Karpeies, the French Society of Buddhist Society from India through Vietnam donated and planted in 1936. The courtyard is spacious, flat, airy, enough space to concentrate thousands of people in the ceremony

• The main pagoda consists of roads, main electricity, and houses. On the roof of the temple are carved dragons, soft symmetrically emerging on the ranges of the vertical tile that look really balanced, harmonious, beautiful. Under the attic, there are paintings of Buddha, a complete composition on the casting frame. Along the road pillars are the sentences of long-sharp typeface. • In power there are Buddha statues that celebrate Shakyamuni sitting on the Lotus Court.
