At 8:00 am, our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang and we go to explore the DMZ Vietnam. The distance from Da Nang to DMZ is about 210km and it takes about 4 hours to get there.
On the way from Danang to DMZ Quang Tri, we will stop to capture some beautiful historic places such as
Lang Co Beach, one of the fabulous beaches in the world voted by the World Bay.
La Vang Holy Land– the major and most important pilgrimage site of the Vietnamese Catholics recognized by the Vatican Holy.
Hien Luong Bridge spans over the Ben Hai River where was the border area dividing Vietnam into 2 regions along the 17th parallel. At that time, the North is controlled by the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, and the South was the Republic of Vietnam for nearly 22 years, from 1954 to 1976.
Long Hung Church– Long Hung Church is known as a very valuable tourist attraction in Quang Tri province. It is a rare remnant remaining to the present, where it is associated with the fiery summer war in 1972 in Quang Tri town. It was this place that marks the battle of our army and people against the counterattack of the US troops to retake Quang Tri.
The next place in our Da Nang DMZ tour is Doc Mieu Firebase– Doc Mieu military base is a basalt hill located in a zigzag three-slope terrain area. As early as 1947, in order to judge National Highway 1A, the French colonialists set up a military base here called Ba Doc. So advantageous, in turn, the US army, when setting up a military base to occupy the peak here, used to “arrogantly” declare: “This is an impregnable fortress”.
Vinh Moc Tunnels– Traveling to Vinh Moc tunnels once, you will feel the suffering, unceasing creativity, and brave fighting spirit of the army and people of Vinh Linh during the war years. An underground village from 10 to 30m deep with everything such as family houses, freshwater wells, meeting rooms, clinics, etc.
Khe Sanh Combat Base (USD 25 upon request) is a town in the mountainous district of Huong Hoa (Quang Tri province) on the Trans-Asia route. During the war years, Khe Sanh was a place in history, with fierce battles. Currently, Khe Sanh still keeps traces of war such as Lao Bao prison, Ta Con airbase.
After all, we will drive you back to your hotel in Da Nang and we finish the Da Nang to DMZ by private car. Culture Pham Travel wishes you have a wonderful memory with us!
